IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU
The first step is a discovery call. This is a complimentary call to discuss your goals, your experience up until now, and to give me a clear idea of your project. I can offer you advice, direct you to resources, and most importantly – see if we are a good working match.
I work differently than other website design firms – instead of making quotes, I sell my webmaster time in 4 convenient time buckets. One reason I work like this is so my clients never experience abandonment. This often happens when you work with other web designers or a web design company who builds you a website for a fixed price and then vanishes. I prefer to stick around and help you grow online and be there for you to edit or add anything to your website at moments notice.
Often website design makeovers take 100+ hours depending on the size of your website and its complexity. I strive to get everything right from the look and feel of your brand to the functionalities you require to succeed. Websites with eCommerce or lots of pages cost more. If you own a small brochure type of website with 10 pages or under I can usually redesign your website and give you a complete makeover rather quickly and at a lower budget.
Every website I design, big or small, includes search engine optimization best practices. Website architecture and content is all handled very carefully and methodically during the design and development phases to be sure SEO best practices are in place sitewide. SEO best practices include keyword market intelligence efforts researching live search engine databases to identify opportunities followed by site architecture optimization and content optimization that reflect my findings. This will make all your search engine marketing efforts much easier from the start.
Before the job starts I let you know how much time each element of your project is going to take. I breakdown the various tasks of your custom project into small focused production cycles and update you every time you make a request, this insures that you always know how much time is left in each task block and allows you to make the decision on how the funds are best allocated. After all, we’re a team.
